Our team in Germany is looking for a Digital Sales & Marketing Executive Poland (based in Hamburg) with a strong business sense who is creating sustainable, profitable growth and expands market share in the assigned territory.

Working together with the Regional Sales Manager DACH/DK/PL and his team, you will be responsible for all our sales & marketing activities in the Polish market. You are the primary point-of-contact and accountable for our sales performance. You are highly motivated to grow our direct sales through our Vacanceselect platform and to develop various B2B partnerships & campaigns to push the sales for the B2C market. These partnerships can range from mass market retail, to affiliates, influencers, loyalty programs, employee benefits etc.

For indirect sales, you will support the team in negotiating and contracting selected resellers like touroperators, retailers and OTA’s in the Polish market.

This means, you will be searching for partners who align with the core values ​​of Vacanceselect and with whom we can enter into a structural and/or a tactical win-win cooperation. You approach potential partners to set up joint promotions & campaigns. Here you can be very creative and think out of the box! Managing the affiliate channel is also your responsibility.

Together with your manager, you determine the commercial strategy for the Polish market to increase the results for all sales channels and minimize the costs of distribution. In this, close cooperation with the central acquisition team is important to further optimize our SEO & SEA strategy, along with content optimization & social media strategy.

You translate the commercial objectives into successful campaigns, with marketing support. Vacanceselect is a data-driven platform organization, so we use relevant data to optimize our strategy and implementation. Good analytical skills are therefore required.

The position is based in Hamburg, hence frequent travelling to Poland is required, approx. 10-15%.


Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Representation of Vacanceselect Poland (based in Hamburg);
  • Support in establishment of B2B partnerships to increase brand awareness, web traffic and conversion;
  • Support in contracting of selected resellers (TO, OTA, Travel Retail);
  • Planning, initiating, supporting, developing and distribution of (email) campaigns, public campaigns and campaigns with partners;
  • Increase opt-ins for our Polish database/CRM;
  • Local PR & marketing initiatives including social media & influencers;
  • Support in translations, commercial input for B2C campaigns, SEO input;
  • Web enhancement
  • Maintenance & allocation of local marketing budget;
  • Representation at industry events, trade fairs and specialized events;
  • Collect and report market feedback on weekly basis, provide recommendations for strategic and operational enhancements;
  • Frequent reporting on the commercial progress and development within the territory;
  • Managing & optimizing the affiliate channel;
  • Cooperate with the sales team and customer contact center (both based in Hamburg)
  • Any other commercial- and supporting tasks provided by the management.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • An inspirational digital sales & marketing professional with a proven track record in delivering results;
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience, preferably in the Travel or Hospitality industry;
  • Knowledge of the Polish market and tourism industry
  • Bachelor or University level
  • · B2C experience in affiliation, digital sales (& marketing), campaign planning, content management and email marketing is required
  • Pragmatic & result oriented mindset, ability to identify business opportunities and win new and additional business;
  • Analytical (experience with eg. Google Analytics / Datastudio / Semrush is a pre)
  • Traveling across Poland & Europe is required (approx. 10 – 15 %);
  • Fluent in Polish and English language, German is a plus.
  • Based in Hamburg and entitled to work & live in Germany
